Who We Are
Cornerstone Church of Johnston County is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. We are a non-denominational charismatic church that simply loves Jesus and wants to see Him lifted up.
Why We Do
We serve Jesus from a place of rest in the Father. We are not striving, nor do we believe that our works add anything towards our relationship with Christ. We believe that we enter into relationship with Him through grace and there is nothing we can add to it. It's out of this place of peace and acceptance that we offer Him our service. We serve because we love Him and others.
What's Different
We value the Word and the Spirit. We love to worship and pray. We prioritize people. We believe in relationships and loving others. When we say family, we mean it, warts and all. We aren't trying to be a mega-church. No one in leadership is unreachable. We don't have a green room. We don't have smoke machines. We have Jesus and He is all we need.
